Go Green Projects
In the Philippines a lots of organizations promotes green environment one of them is FAME Foundation Inc.
Go Green Philippines was formally launched last October 2007 at the Manila FAME International Show in response to the need to preserve the natural environment. An initiative of Cebu FAME Foundation, Go Green has a 3 fold objectives:
Recycle - natural components to ensure continuing natural sources.
Replenish- what is used to use what has been replenished.
Revitalized - nature and breathe new life to the communities.
Coastal Environmental Program- protecting of coral reefs and establishing sea shells sanctuaries.
Livelihood Projects - helping rural communities through livelihood programs and skills training and education that can also support the fashion jewelry industry.
Go Green Philippines is a sustainable environment program by the Philippine fashion accessories industry. We work with our buyers, exporters, and people like you for a greener Philippines.
Philippine fashion accessories are crafted from the abundant natural resources readily available in our country. We don't want our natural resources to be depleted as the demand for natural jewelry continues to grow. This is why we are making it our Corporate Social Responsibility to protect our environment and sustain our natural resources.
Donations are made every time buyers of fashion accessories order from Philippine exporters or adopt a tree plantation. We also work with individuals who want to be part of our sustainable environment green project. 100% of all donations go to Go Green Philippines. Everyone is welcome to support our goal of a sustainable environment!

The areas to be covered by God Green as proposed by DENR Region VII aer as follows:
Forest Management - planting of pangantuon (white wood) tress as well as other trees such as ipil (brownish wood) and sibucao (red wood) trees, buri propagation and bamboo planting.
Coastal Environmental Program- protecting of coral reefs and establishing sea shells sanctuaries.
Livelihood Projects - helping rural communities through livelihood programs and skills training and education that can also support the fashion jewelry industry.
